1855 Place is a multi-functional office, retail, and housing complex. It is the hub for the Division of Student Life & Engagement and MSU Athletics. Other retail shops at this location include:

Located across the street from Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center is Brody Hall, which features MSU’s largest on-campus dining facility, Brody Square. Brody Square offers a diverse menu, including vegan and vegetarian options, homestyle favorites, comfort food, cultural cuisine, pizza, breakfast items, and desserts. Downtown East Lansing is also a short walk from the hotel. The area features dozens of shops, restaurants, and services.
