Guest Check-in and Out
Check-in time is at 4 p.m. and check-out time is at Noon. We cannot guarantee check-in before 4 p.m. Late check-out is based on hotel availability and other considerations. Please call 517-432-4000 or inquire at check-in.
Reservation Cancellation
Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees. Please note that home football weekend reservations may not be canceled.
Incidental Deposit
All guests are required to provide a valid credit/debit card upon check-in that will be authorized for an incidental deposit.
Room Charges
Guests are personally liable if their indicated company or group does not honor any charges billed to them. Such charges include the cost of the repairs to the guest room due to damage other than normal wear and tear, and expenses incurred due to extraordinary security measures undertaken due to bad behavior by the individual or their guest(s).
Parking
Overnight guests will receive one parking pass per room at the front desk when they check in. Hang the pass from the rearview mirror of your vehicle. Additional passes are available at the front desk for $20 each (please note they will be $30 each during special events). Please note if you make a reservation on or after Sept. 1, 2023, a parking fee will be added to your reservation charges.
Tax-exempt Organizations
If your agency is tax-exempt, you may qualify for exemption from the Michigan 6% state use tax. Reservations are not exempt from the 5% county fee and the 2% convention and tourism tax. To qualify, please complete the tax-exempt form and present it upon check-in. You must pay for your reservation with agency funds. Learn more: Tax-exempt Form
Tobacco Free Campus
The Board of Trustees at MSU established a tobacco-free ordinance on Aug. 15, 2016, as part of an ongoing effort to ensure the MSU community enjoys a healthy campus. In addition to cigarettes and chewing tobacco, the ordinance also prohibits the use of e-cigarettes and vaporizers on campus. Evidence of smoking in a guest room will result in a $150 fee. Pet Policy
Please note we do not allow pets to accompany you during your stay. Service animals are always welcome, per ADA requirements; however, emotional support animals are not permitted.
