Your Health and Safety is Our First Priority

Dear Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center Guests,
Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center and Michigan State University give the safety and security of our guests and team members the highest priority. In response to the novel coronavirus, we have added additional and detailed cleaning and hygiene protocols to our standard cleaning practices. We believe it is essential to brief you on the cleaning practices used within our facilities and detail our plans in keeping the campus healthy and safe. We will also continue to adjust the food and beverage service by following current food safety recommendations.
Cleaning Practices
The Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center housekeeping team has increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfection throughout public areas of our building. This practice includes the use of disinfecting cleaning products on high-touch surfaces such as door handles and elevator buttons throughout the day, as well as increased touch-up cleaning and disinfection in public bathrooms.
University leaders are following guidance from local, state, and federal public health agencies. The university’s Emergency Operations Center has created a task force, and leaders are meeting daily to address the many possible challenges this outbreak presents to our global community and to support students, faculty, and team members. The latest updates from the university about the novel coronavirus can be found online at
